Dear ACIPS Community,
We are pleased to share updates on our latest developments as we continue our journey of research, collaboration, and growth. Your support and engagement are invaluable in driving our mission forward.
We are excited to announce that ACIPS has appointed two new Trustees who bring a wealth of experience and commitment to our cause. Their profiles will be featured in the next edition of our newsletter. We are still in the process of identifying three additional female Trustees—one from West Africa and two from Central and East Africa. We welcome recommendations from our network as we seek individuals who share our vision.
Our Director will be traveling to the East Africa region on a private mission. This trip presents an opportunity to engage with potential partners and explore avenues for academic collaboration and research expansion.
The official launch of our journal has been delayed as we prioritize the constitution of a strong and dynamic Editorial Board. This step is essential to ensuring high-quality research output and establishing ACIPS as a respected voice in indigenous phenomenon studies.
ACIPS is actively exploring affiliations with academic institutions across Africa to enhance our research activities. These partnerships will help strengthen our research capacity, create knowledge-sharing opportunities, and support the development of indigenous studies within the academic landscape.
We are in the process of securing research funding to support our ongoing projects and management personnel. Sustainable financial backing is crucial for our long-term success.
In addition to our research activities, ACIPS remains committed to community education and knowledge dissemination. We plan to host a series of workshops and public discussions to engage with scholars, traditional knowledge holders, and the broader community.
We encourage all members and supporters to actively participate in ACIPS initiatives. Whether through research collaboration, funding support, or sharing insights, your contributions play a vital role in shaping our impact.
Best regards,
Management
